This privacy policy applies to the Pic2Art mobile application ("Application") provided by Adam Development AB ("Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a freemium service and is provided "AS IS". By using the Application, you consent to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Usage & Device Information
We collect limited technical information such as:
- Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Device model, operating system, and preferred language
- Timestamps and duration of in‑app activities and visited screens
This information is collected through Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Appsflyer and is used in aggregated form to improve stability and user experience.
1.2 Location (Approximate)
If you grant permission, we receive coarse location data from your device for the purposes of personalising content and analytics. Location collection is strictly optional; you may withdraw permission at any time in your device settings.
1.3 Photo & Face Data
The Application allows you to capture or select photos for artistic style transformation. These photos may incidentally contain human faces.
- We do not detect, analyse, recognise, or extract any biometric identifiers from faces.
- Faces are treated as ordinary pixels; the entire image is processed as a single unit.
- No face templates, embeddings, depth maps, or similar data are created or stored.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Artistic Style Transformation – Uploaded photos are processed by an AI model to generate stylised artwork at the user's request.
- Customer Support – If you contact us, we may use information you provide to resolve issues.
- Analytics & Improvements – Aggregated, anonymised data help us measure performance and prioritise new features.
We never use photo or face data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision‑making.
3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent any personal data. We disclose information only when legally compelled or to protect rights and safety (see Section 7).
4. Storage & Retention
- Original Photos – Stored in an encrypted Google Cloud Storage bucket located in europe‑west1. Deleted automatically within 2 minutes after successful transformation.
- Transformed Artwork – Stored to allow re‑download; automatically deleted after 24 months of user inactivity (we will send an in‑app or email notification before removal), or sooner if you email hello@pic2art.ai to request deletion.
- Analytics Data – Retained by Firebase and Appsflyer in aggregated form for up to 24 months.
5. Your Choices & Controls
- You may delete the Application at any time to stop all data collection.
- To delete stored artwork sooner, email hello@pic2art.ai. We will fulfil your deletion request within 5 working days.
- For manual deletion of analytics data or other requests, email hello@pic2art.ai.
6. Security
We employ industry‑standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, AES‑256 encryption at rest, strict access controls, and automated deletion policies.
7. Children
The Application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us for immediate deletion.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in‑app and on our website. The revision date at the top reflects the latest version.
